Graphitized Petroleum Coke (GPC) – High Carbon Recarburizer for Steel & Iron
Graphitized Petroleum Coke (GPC) is produced by high-temperature graphitization of petroleum coke at 2800–3000 °C. The process transforms the carbon structure into a near-pure graphite lattice, resulting in an ultra-high fixed carbon content and minimal impurities.
GPC is the recarburizer of choice for electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking, ductile iron casting, and high-quality steel production where tight carbon control is critical.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between GPC and CPC?
GPC undergoes an additional graphitization step at 2800–3000 °C, which gives it a higher carbon content (≥98.5%), lower sulfur, and better electrical conductivity compared to calcined petroleum coke (CPC).
What particle sizes are available?
Standard sizes: 0–1mm, 1–5mm and 5–8mm. Custom sizing is available depending on volume. Contact us with your specification.
Can you provide a third-party inspection report?
Yes. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, or equivalent labs can be arranged upon request.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is typically 20 metric tons (one 20ft container). Larger bulk orders are welcome.
